Bridal Pricing and Nail Trends for 2023

By Claire Howard, Lecenté Educator

As we are now in peak wedding season, it is essential to stay up-to-date with the latest bridal trends. As a nail technician, you may be wondering what kind of bridal nail styles would be popular this year.

What are this years Bridal trends?

One of the trends that I expect to see is the ‘Hailey Bieber’ glazed donut style nails. This involves applying a chrome glaze, such as Lecenté Double Trouble Chrome or Pearlescent Powder, over a nude or classic French base. This trend gained popularity last summer, and I believe it would be a hit this year as well.

However, classic French manicure and French Ombré continue to be the most requested bridal nail styles because of their timeless elegance and versatility. Adding subtle details such as sparkle, gems, or foil can add a unique touch to these classic styles.

How to price Bridal Services

Now, let’s talk about pricing. I have always used levels to price my nail art designs, and I do the same for my bridal services. I offer a Bridal French manicure service on my menu and charge my standard 15-30 minute nail art fee. My pricing levels are based on the time the service would take me, with level three being for more intricate designs and additional

features like crystals. I don’t charge a supplement for brides as I keep it within my regular pricing categories. However, if you want to attract brides and advertise your services specifically for them, I recommend grouping and pricing your nail art services and showcasing them on a pinned Instagram post or story highlight.

How to make a bridal service unique?

To add a unique touch to your bridal services, you can offer a luxury hand treatment. Bridal prep can be stressful, and your bride will appreciate the relaxation and pampering. A hand exfoliation, mask, and massage will leave her hands feeling and looking their best. To make the experience even more special, consider serving Prosecco or special chocolates.

In conclusion, staying on-trend with the latest bridal nail styles, pricing smartly, and offering something different will make you stand out as a go-to nail technician for all the brides-to-be.
