What are the best parts of your job?

I just love helping people. I know that when I ran my own nail studio it never felt like I was going to work. I loved it. I want to help as many techs as I can from all over the world to adore going to work every day; while building and growing their skills, business and confidence.

What’s the tough bit of your job?

As a mother of a gorgeous little boy and an entrepreneur it would be so handy to have 4 Chan’s in the house to help with the juggle of motherhood, work and life lol. But I honestly love all aspects of it, I just wish there were more hours in the day. He’s my heartbeat and is one of my biggest inspirations 💙

What’s the best advice you have been given?

Your goals and dreams were given to you for a reason. And it is not your job to make other people believe in or see your vision.

It’s not their dream… it’s YOURS.

To the people who told me I was ‘Just doing nails’, to the client who told me ‘My daughter wanted to do nails, but I told her to get a proper job’, to the people who always joked, I had way too much time on my hands if I could waste time drawing art on my nails…..

That’s ok❤️ you didn’t get the vision.

To anyone reading this, you CAN do anything you put your mind to. If it’s a dream or goal that excites you, please keep going, keep pushing…your dreams and goals were given to YOU for a reason!

What motivates you daily?

My family and the Clawgasmic community. Every time I get a message from someone saying they have listened to our podcast and it lifted their mood or helped them, I do a little happy dance! When someone joins our network and finds it helpful, my cup feels full. Our main goal is to help, uplift and inspire and if I can just do that to one person each and every day, I am happy.

What are your career highlights?

Oh my goodness so many.. I am truly grateful. London Fashion Week was an incredible experience and I recently got the opportunity to assist the wonderful Harriet Westmoreland which was amazing, she is so lovely!! I have done a few speaking events and in-person nail art classes this year and it really has felt like a dream come true to be able to do what I love every day and meet so many amazing nail techs.

What qualifications do you have?

National Beauty Diploma and various training with individual brands.

What would you say your key skills are?

Gel manicures and nail art, and loves to chat haha!
