The Reason Behind This Event

We recently hosted our first ever Creator & Educator day bringing together our team of Lecenté Creators, Educators and affiliates for a day jam packed with training, new product reveals and networking.

Our Creators share the Lecenté love through their work using Lecenté products and with their passion and commitment to the brand.

We wanted this day to champion them in recognition for their continued hard work and support, offering them an opportunity not only to enhance their skill sets but to also build upon their relationships within the Lecenté Creator community.

Finding the Perfect Venue

We needed a venue that ticked all the boxes and we found just that.

Maverick Ladies Lounge in the historical town of Rochester is a true gem, an Instagram ready venue adorned with flower walls, gorgeous lighting and impressive décor, it also included three separate areas for us to entertain our guests.

Situated in Lecente’s home county of Kent, Rochester is bursting at the seams with history and offered our guests the opportunity to explore the wonderous surrounding sights during their visit. With direct transport links in and out of London, we felt this venue would be the perfect spot to host our special guests.

The Proof is in the Planning

Months of meticulous planning allowed us to focus on the finer details.

From food and drinks to development and downtime we wanted to make sure that we had the right balance to ensure that our Creators who had travelled from far and wide got the most value possible from the day.

We were also keen to add the personal touch to the day, so where possible the Lecenté HQ team got creative! Our cupcakes, brownies, place cards, notepads, selfie board, custom mirror and balloon arch were all lovingly created by members of the HQ team.

The Lecenté Times Newspaper was a labour of love for Product Development Manager Theresa Foddering. This offered a great morning read to kick start to the day filled with sneak peeks into what’s coming soon from Lecenté. A copy was available to each of our guests to enjoy with their morning coffees and pastries.

We planned the day to the letter ensuring there were equal opportunities to learn and network with an itinerary that ran as smoothly in person as it did on paper.

Welcomes and Workshops

We began the day with a welcome and little bit of Lecenté history from co-founders Ged and Maria before we let the Creators get cracking with their training sessions lead by the talented Zoya Mac and Anrdeea Ignat.

Andreea lead a technically skilled session focusing on hard gels with forms. From the well delivered theory to fine tuning the Creators form fitting skills it was an amazing opportunity for the Creators to get hands on training, overseen by an industry expert and allowed them to produce some stunning nail extensions.

Zoya focused on her area of expertise in content creation, sharing the tips and tricks that have lead her to become one of the greatest content creators in the industry. From reels to photos, props to apps, this session was bursting with value that the creators could take away and put into practice.

A session lead by Creative Director Maria Cientanni, introduced a brand new product from Lecenté. Providing Creators with product knowledge and a full demonstration. It’s a dream product that’s going to be worth waiting for…we promise!

What’s in the Box?

The pièce de resistance of the day was most definitely the grand opening of the giveaway boxes. There was music, bubbles and a real air of excitement as the Creators dived into boxes filled with Lecenté newness! With lots to get excited about including an inspiring new system from Lecenté, our newly designed Lecenté apron, and so much more besides…but we don’t want to spoil the fun of what is still to come.

Also included were contributions of some fun nail decals from Jerri Cook @dippycownails and samples of the eagerly awaited Saviour Nail & Skin Restoring Oil, courtesy of Theresa Foddering @saviour.nails

Competitions & Awards

The day would not have been complete without some healthy competition, so we challenged our Creators to take part in a boxed nail art competition, with the theme “What Lecenté Means to Me”. We could not wait to see their interpretations and creations! In true Creator style they delivered well beyond any of our expectations, making the job of our three judges an extremely tough one.

First Place went to Laura Peat @simplykokoderby for her jaw dropping entry of the micro Lecenté lamp, cleverly crafted from acrylic. The hinged lamp design lit up upon opening and the whole design showed meticulous attention to detail and branding.

Second Place went to Sarah Gooderham @nailsbysarahgooderham who paid tribute to the Lecenté values in the form of a family tree, incorporating the values we pride ourselves on, presented in a gorgeous colourful masterpiece.

Third Place went to Elizabeth Barlow @elegantnails_huntly with this fun and vibrant boxed art complete with caricatures of the Lecenté leaders Ged and Maria and tributes to our history and brand.

We then had some special awards to complete the day, with great prizes from vouchers to merch and including contributions from @saviour.nails with an exclusive balm and oil and some gorgeous pump bottles from the much loved @botellauk.

The Lecenté Legacy Award was awarded to Nina Nicolson for her longstanding contribution to Education and significant impact with her work for Lecenté.

The Ultimate Creator Award was awarded to Sophie Donaldson for her passion and enthusiasm for the brand and for going above and beyond in her role as Creator.

Special Recognition Award was awarded to Elissa Newton (Lecenté Educator) for her determination and commitment in raising the Lecenté profile in Ireland, supporting salons and techs in their introduction to Lecenté.

Final Thoughts & Feedback

I think we can confidently say that the first Creator and Educator day will not be our last.

Our Creators and Educators are very much part of the Lecenté family and to have everyone together in one room was just amazing.

We are so incredibly proud and privileged to have such a talented team of individuals surrounding us, with their unwavering support in helping to make Lecenté the brand we know and love.

The feedback from the day has been overwhelmingly positive and we can’t wait to do it all again!
